These bracelets and earrings are a blend of antique typewriter keys and authentic Victorian Era postcards. The typewriter key creates a secure, crisp setting for the bits of 100 year old postcards. The keys are then securely sealed and fastened onto the jewelry you will see here. These are very labor-intensive pieces and the shape of typewriter key I use for them is rare. These wonderful pins also utilize antique postcards, but can showcase a larger scene. Sandwiched between two pieces of glass and sealed with a textured copper metal tape, you may also see bits of old lace, ribbon and maybe a bit of the writing on the back by the original sender from 100 years ago. Antique buttons are applied to the front surface to complement the scene within. Offerings of Victorian Postcard Jewelry are usually limited to a few items at any given time. These jewelry items are extremely feminine in appearance and guaranteed to be a conversation piece. |
